ok, here's the scoop. diogo swam with adam at byu. fabiola was dating diogo and would come train with byu for a few seasons just for kicks. diogo and fabiola [who wed last nov.] are pro swimmers in brazil. diogo was on the tv at the restaurant that night because he had just qualified earlier that day for the pan american games to be held in rio in a month or two. fabiola qualified a week before, i believe, and there was this article adam found in the newspaper the following day. amor pan-americano - love at the pan-american games. ha! cute, huh? just to verify that they really were famous adam and i asked a few of our cab drivers if they knew 'diogo yabe' and 'fabiola molina' -- it was always followed by an enthusastic "ahhhh, sing! [yes]" with a thumbs up.
the gals in the middle were some friends at dinner - the chick on the right is another swimmer with team brazil - just check out those freaking guns, would you? i had a hard time not staring. can i have swimmer's arms please?
