Bathtime Babble

In the bathtub is where you'll find The Bird around 7:15 a.m. every morning. I think I may be the only person in the world who does morning baths instead of nighttime baths for the little one, but in my opinion it is the best way to start the day: clean and fresh smelling. I love her sleepy little eyes and her happy demeanor and, of course, the babbling that always ensues.

Wedding in the Woods

A couple weekends ago we attended Adam's friend John's wedding in Oregon. It was sooo fun. Some things you'll see in the slideshow:

A naked Bird; an awesome vintage wedding dress on Krista, the bride; a reception in a barn in Philomath, a tiny town outside Corvallis; dancing in the barn with the Bird in her backpack; outside the Portland temple (Bird and I waited in the lobby during the ceremony while I helped babysit for some other families); breakfast food that I can't stop thinking about (why did it take me so long to try eggs benedict?!); wanderings in Portland.

These first two videos are from a couple months ago. In this one: She is woman, hear her roar.

This one had me laughing really hard, as you can kind of tell in the movie. It's how she got a carpet burn on her forehead. She seemed to like the game a lot.

Here's one from a couple days ago. You can't hear the music very well, but she's leading it.
