 August 1st was a memorable one! We drove to Moab and spent a couple days at Arches National Park. Pretty much my favorite place on earth. I went here many times as a child with my family and it was so fun to share it with Adam and the kids. It was hotter than hell, but we hiked around as much as we could stand. I loved every minute of it.

Then we drove to Pueblo, Colorado to hang out with Adam's sister, Natalie, and her family for a week. We stopped in to see Adam's mom for a bit.

Sienna and Noah get a long so well with James and Max and they had the best week just hanging out.

One of our outings all together was visiting the very unusual Bishop's Castle. A guy built it and it's not up to code and it's truly terrifying to scale its walls. Alas. The structure stands and it's quite an extraordinary undertaking.

We went on a hike to a natural arch. So beautiful!

Swimming, ice cream... it's all I want to be doing during any summer.

After four weeks out, we decided it was time to head home. We stopped in Roosevelt and Twin Falls again for a few days before the final ascent northward.

The Roosevelt swimming pool was back open and Noah got some nose plugs!
