Adam's parents visited us in August and we were happy to be reunited after a year!
They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on the trip, and Paris was the right choice for an incredible benchmark.
We got tickets to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Halfway up, Noah and I marveled at the sights.

We went on a boat tour next, and apparently this is the only picture I got from it: Adam and me in front of the Notre Dame cathedral.
The next day, the kids and I had a lazy morning at the hotel while KC, Diane and Adam visited the Louvre.
Then we all met up later that day at the Sacre Coeur cathedral.
We took a walk through the Montmartre neighborhood and got a crepe at my favorite spot. We were happy for blue skies when they showed themselves. Grandpa helped entertain the kids, who, as per usual, were going loopy.
I'd been to the Montmartre several times but never was it this busy, with all the artists out doing their thing.
Diane found a pretty painting to remind her of Paris.
Noah was plugging along as best as he could.
Waiting for an uber ... Sienna posed in front of one of my favorite buildings. Diane pointed out the color sienna on it. :)
Our hotel's neighborhood had some good, close dinner options, which was nice. Couldn't get enough of the view of this awesome building across the street. Oh, and the food and company were great, too!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch. This is how we keep kids quiet in the tiny, paper-thin walls of Paris hotel rooms.
This day we decided to spring for Versailles. It was sooooo incredible. I'm so glad we went.
This fireplace was the size of our whole apartment.

The next morning, KC & Diane opted to visit Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle cathedrals while the rest of us went to brunch at Angelina's.
We took the train back to Lux and the next day had a picnic in the Grund area.
Adam went to work and the rest of us visited Beaufort castle.

KC & Diane took advantage of the hot weather and gave me a break from the kids by taking them to the Pirate Park all day!
