Julian, CA

Last Saturday we took a trip to a cute mountain tourist town called Julian. It's famous for pies. It was buzzing with tourists in line at many pie shops. We joined them and came away with Adam's favorite pie: Dutch apple. We also took our bikes and had a great ride into the countryside. It actually felt like a real fall up there, changing colors, chilly wind....

Does this not resemble Joseph Smith? It is, in fact, Chopin.

The trusty pie makers of Julian.

Can you see the machine at the right of the pic? It is one of the most amazing I have ever seen. It takes a glob of dough and smashes it in one second into a perfect bottom pie crust. I could have watched it all day.

This picture doesn't look like it's going to work. It's of Sean and Sara from Nicklecreek. We saw them at a benefit concert at the New Song Church in Oceanside. The pic is blurry anyway cuz I couldn't use flash.

Vote for God! was the campaign of the New Song Church. Their signs were in the midst of the millions of other campaign signs leading up to Nov. 7. He got my vote.

Merrilee and Ben Ishii joined us for the concert.

Halloween Highlights

We were basically a two-headed ghost. The queen sized sheet would not make two lone costumes after all. And the bishop outlawed masks...hence our raggity look. Check out the cute bat I made at Young Womens.

This little cow is sooooooo cute.

The girl looks like me when I was little.

Two supermen came.
