This was a lone tree at the beach that stood by me as I was a lone sitter at the beach. (yes, same story, coming later)

I got a new bike! Adam's bike is lonely no more atop the Fo. Mine is the red TREK. It's a hybrid so I can sail along on the city streets or take a detour on a rugged dirt path. Just wait till you see me on it. Adam slapped them both on the car and met me at the beach last Saturday where I was waiting all day (that story later) and we went for a stroll along the beach.

These are some of Adam's friends from high school who were in the area (some live here). So what did we do? We went to the beach. And we ate at our favorite burger joint in La Jolla.

Allen comes to town! Allen, my brother, came to visit Adam and me in good ol' Vista. He came with friend Joe Rasmussen and what else would we do with our day? Spend it at the beach. Oh, and watch baseball.

Adam spends a lot of quality time with his bike these days.

Even Adam can stay awake during General Conference if he plays Conference Bingo with candy.

We packed a lunch and spent the day on Coronado Island sightseeing.
