This kid is wasted after another Saturday afternoon of nothing but homework.
A common occurance: Parents stopping mid-stride to make their children wave to us and yell "HELLO!!!!" Even children who can't even speak Chinese yet.
Kathy stuck with a somewhat familiar dish: spaghetti...with colorful chunks of who knows what.
What the....?
It's chewy alright.

Contrary to popular opinion, the hook makes a great toothpick. Especially for retrieving foreign fish parts from the lunch we just ate.
That's right Rachel. I will wring your neck with this here hook.
A mustache for Kathy?
The hook makes us laugh.
I am very fond of the hook.
The hook never leaves our side.
No one escapes a good beating from the hook.
This shop had just what Liz has been looking for her whole life: a giant wooden hook for that one knot in her back that no one understands. As for me, the boingy stick with a rubber basketball on the end provides some relieving, if not brutal, tai chi comfort. Rachel, me, Kathy, Liz and Dorian in Lukang.
